Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of peptogenesis.com and any order you place through it. Please read them before ordering.

Agreement to these terms

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or order from us. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Research Use Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns and Refunds policy, each of which forms part of your agreement with us.

Who may order

To place an order you must be at least 21 years old and located in the United States. Peptogenesis sells and ships within the United States only, and we do not accept orders for delivery outside the United States. You confirm both of these at checkout, and again when you register an account.

You may browse the catalog and view prices without creating an account. An account is never required simply to see what we sell or what it costs.

Research use only

Everything sold on this website is supplied strictly for laboratory and analytical research carried out by qualified professionals in an appropriate research setting.

Our products are not drugs, foods, food additives, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or household goods. They are not intended for human use, veterinary use, or food use of any kind, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. You agree not to use them for any such purpose, and not to resell or supply them to anyone for such a purpose.

We do not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution, or personal-use guidance, and our support team cannot advise on any use outside laboratory research. Nothing on this website is medical advice.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

When you register you acknowledge that you are 21 or over, that you are in the United States, that the materials are for research use only and not for human or veterinary use, and that you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Orders and acceptance

An order you place is an offer to buy. Your order confirmation email acknowledges that we received the order; it is not acceptance of it. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the order, and then only for the items actually dispatched.

We may refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, before dispatch. Reasons include an item being unavailable, an error in the price or product description, a problem with payment, an order we cannot verify, or a reasonable belief that the materials are intended for a use these terms prohibit. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled items.

Pricing

Prices are shown in United States dollars and exclude tax and shipping, which are calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Prices and availability can change at any time before an order is dispatched.

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you to confirm whether you want the item at the correct price or would prefer to cancel.

Quantity discounts, where offered, apply to the same product and the same selected option. They are shown in your cart and at checkout, and cannot be combined with promotional codes unless we say so.

Payment

Payment is due in full when you place your order. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and are processed by the payment provider shown there, under that provider's own terms. Orders that remain unpaid or whose payment is declined may be canceled.

You are responsible for giving accurate payment and billing information, and for including any reference we ask you to include so that your payment can be matched to your order.

Shipping, delivery, and risk

We ship within the United States only. Orders are processed Monday to Friday, typically within 1–2 business days, and tracking details are emailed when your order is dispatched. Delivery dates offered by a carrier are estimates and are not guaranteed. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If you notice an error, contact support immediately — before dispatch we can usually correct it, but once fulfillment has begun a change cannot be guaranteed.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you supplied. This does not affect your ability to raise a damaged, missing, or incorrect delivery claim under the section below.

Damaged, missing, or incorrect deliveries

If an order arrives with visible shipping damage, contact support within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the packaging and the affected items. Missing or incorrect items should be reported promptly with your order number and a description of what arrived.

Verified claims are reviewed for replacement. Products that have been opened, reconstituted, used, improperly stored, or otherwise compromised are not eligible for return or replacement.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds

An order may be canceled if it has not yet entered fulfillment; contact support as soon as possible. Once processing or shipping has begun, cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Because of the nature of research materials, we do not accept routine returns or exchanges once an order has entered fulfillment, including where the wrong product or quantity was ordered. Our Returns and Refunds policy sets out the full terms, including how verified damage, missing-item, and fulfillment-error claims are handled. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Product information, COAs, and SDS documents

Product descriptions, specifications, and documentation are provided for information. Where a Certificate of Analysis or Safety Data Sheet is published for a product, it relates to the batch or item identified in that document and not to any other batch. A document is only ever published where a real file exists; where none is published, the product shows that no document is available yet.

We do not make blanket testing, purity, sterility, or composition claims about our catalog, and we do not present supplier-provided documentation as independent testing. You are responsible for satisfying yourself, by your own assessment, that a material is suitable for your intended research.

Assumption of risk and purchaser responsibility

Research materials must be handled only by qualified professionals with the training, facilities, and equipment appropriate to the work. You are responsible for handling, storing, using, and disposing of the materials safely and in compliance with the laws, regulations, and institutional rules that apply to you, and for consulting a Safety Data Sheet where one is available.

You accept the risks inherent in handling research materials, and you are responsible for the consequences of any use you make of them.

Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to use this website unlawfully or in a way that could damage it or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. In particular, you agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, account, or server; not to introduce malicious code; not to scrape, harvest, or copy the site or its content systematically; not to place fraudulent orders or use another person’s payment details; and not to misrepresent who you are or the purpose for which materials are being purchased.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, refuse future orders, or withdraw access to the website where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached — including where materials appear to be intended for a use these terms prohibit, or where fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected. Where it is appropriate and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.

Intellectual property

The content of this website — including its text, layout, graphics, product photography, and the Peptogenesis name and logo — belongs to Peptogenesis or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content or branding commercially without our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that product information or documentation is complete or free from error. Because our products are supplied for research use only, no warranty is given as to their suitability for any particular experiment, protocol, or outcome, and no warranty of safety or efficacy of any kind is given or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peptogenesis is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or research results, arising out of or connected with your use of this website or any product bought through it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent the law allows, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Peptogenesis against claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of a product — including any human, veterinary, food, diagnostic, or therapeutic use — or your breach of any law or regulation that applies to your handling or use of the materials.

Electronic communications

When you use this website or contact us, you are communicating with us electronically, and you consent to receive communications from us electronically. Order confirmations, dispatch notifications, and support replies are sent to the email address on your order or account, so please keep it accurate and check your spam folder if something does not arrive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order, so please review it when you order. The date this page was last updated is shown at the top.

General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. If we do not enforce a right under these terms, that is not a waiver of the right. These terms, together with the policies referred to in them, form the entire agreement between you and Peptogenesis in relation to your use of this website and your orders.
